Witsand/ Port Beaufort has to be one of the most beautiful, serene fishing villages on the Southern Cape coast: a recently discovered gem situated on the eastern bank of the mighty Breede River, where it makes its way into the waters of San Sebastian Bay . The Bay acts as host to Southern Right Whales and their calves from June through to November.
