all the elements for growth and provides a sound foundation for
aspirant investors.
Strong supportive service sectors have been developed within Oudtshoorn
to underpin the two main legs of its economy: tourism and agriculture.

skills training facilities.
The area has one provincial hospital, a Medi-Clinic private hospital
and four municipal clinics. Oudtshoorn boasts a comprehensive energy
service limit that includes fire services, ambulance services, traffic
services and other essential community services.
Crime levels in the area are relatively low in comparison with other
areas in South Africa.
The area offers a modern urban and an attractive countryside environment
and has sufficient attractions and activities to meet the needs
of both tourists and permanent residents.
