Sir: Your paper gets better by the issue. It is full of the most
interesting items and provides a wealth of useful information for
people like myself who have just arrived in the region and are looking
for suitable property to buy.
D. Ratsley - George
Sir: The only way to stop the destruction of our natural environment
is to say 'NO' to all new developments. Why should we allow strangers
to come and plunder our natural resources only to make profits to stuff
in their pockets?
Bernie Fraser - Mossel Bay
Ed.: As we have previously commented in GRI, property development is a
high-risk business. We would all presumably like a roof over our heads,
so surely as more and more people relocate to this region, development
is inevitable. Therefore it is more a question of sustainable and tightly
controlled development growth. No doubt you currently live in a house
which at some time or another was unspoiled open ground?
Sir: I enjoy the photography in your publication but why don't you ever
show more of the very beautiful young ladies I see everywhere around here?
Perhaps it's the air, or the scenery, but the ladies of the Garden Route
definitely complement the natural beauty of the area.
Phil Bagley - Hoekwil.
Ed: We agree. Take a look at the front page.
