q CRAB'S CREEK, Knysna :
Opening during December 2002 will be a completely new looking Crab's Creek in Knysna. Situated right on the water it is a prime spot to relax, and new owner Franz Bosman (who also runs the Brenton On Sea Hotel Restaurant and Pub facilities) certainly seems to want to maximise on this superb setting with some major financial investment.

The completely revamped Crab's Creek will consist of a Waterfront Tavern downstairs offering Pizza, Tavern Food, and TV viewing facilities for major sporting occasions. Outside the lower deck has been extended with this terraced area reaching right over the water's edge.

Upstairs will be the Waterfront Wine House, a more upmarket restaurant, with both the Tavern and the Wine House having their own respective wine cellars (+/-2000 bottles). In addition the Crab's Creek Wine Shop and Cheese Shop will retail product direct to the public.

Lots of vision, lots of investment, and a totally revamped Crab's Creek coming to life in Knysna again.

Going back to simplicity and humble products is Markus Farbinger from the newly opened Bakery/ Coffee Bar 'Le ile de pain', situated at the Boatshed on Thesen Island.

Linda Kuhn's 'The Sandwich Shop' is situated in Courtenay Street in George, and offers a healthy and high quality fast food eating experience. Its business is to make a variety of fresh (made to order in front of you) and high quality sandwiches out of a variety of different breads, with a total of 29 different filling combinations on offer. Also if you prefer you can order your sandwich telephonically, with all orders within the George area being free.
